Enrolling at McCarthy College

McCarthy College enrols students from Year 7 to Year 12.

Enrolments are considered at any time throughout the year, however, the main enrolment period commences in February of the year prior to enrolment.

Catholic schools have a strong religious dimension and people of other faiths who wish to enrol in Catholic schools are expected to participate in all religious activities at the College.

You are welcome to contact our Enrolment Officer at any time to help you obtain further information or guide you through the enrolment process.

 

Enrolment Procedure

Step 1:

View our facilities

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. Our Open Day held in March each year, provides a wonderful opportunity for prospective families to view our facilities and meet our staff.

Alternatively, throughout the year, families can arrange a tour of the College by contacting us on 4735 3211.

Step 2:

Enrolment Application

Complete and submit an: 
Enrolment Application Form (Form A)
Consent Form (Form B)
Overseas and Exchange Students (Form C)
Contact information form for parents/carers not residing with the student (Form D).

The completed Enrolment Application, together with all requested supporting documentation, must be submitted, in person, to our school office. Please be aware that we are unable to accept or process incomplete applications and note that submitting an application does not guarantee automatic placement. Please bring with you original documentation to be sighted and copied, if required.


Step 3:

Your letter of offer

The principal will consider the completed application and may make an offer to enrol your child at the school. Your application does not guarantee an automatic place at McCarthy Catholic College. We will notify you of the results of your application.


Step 4:

Acceptance of offer

We will advise the outcome of your application in writing shortly after the interview.

If you receive a Letter of Offer, you are required to return the Enrolment Acceptance Form and pay the non-refundable Enrolment Deposit ($300 for Secondary students) by the requested date to secure your position. This will contribute towards your first term school-based fees.
